The IS Network Solutions team provides third level support, maintenance, and planning, for the client's network and server environment, as well as resourcing for ongoing projects supported by our Project Delivery Office (PDO).
The client maintains a diverse LAN and WAN environment that utilizes a wide variety of methods and technologies. Our network infrastructure is mostly Cisco based and consists of both physical and wireless devices. The IS Network Solutions team consists of approximately 3 contract resources and operates in a pool concept where they are utilized across varying projects, based on skills and abilities, to provide the most efficient support to the business.
Description of Requirements
The client is looking for a proven Network Administrator to assist with the implementation of several new initiatives. Aside from project work, the Network Administrator will also provide day to day operations support within the IS Network Solutions group.
The Network Administrator should have a minimum 5-10 years of directly related IT experience, with a broad understanding of technology and solutions trends in the market and the ability and desire to stay current. The Network Administrator must be able to perform in a multivendor team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Term: One year with two 1 year options to extend

Duties of the Resource include, but are not necessarily limited to:
- Managing the Release Process to deliver solutions to the various software development life cycle environments.
- Preparing detailed written/visual documentation (using Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interfacing with clients to provide guidance and direction based on their project.
- Working directly with various Project Managers on multiple project releases and have the ability to be a project coordinator at times.
- Translating technical requirements into a release plan for implementation.
- Addressing issues and delegating assistance to the appropriate teams.

Solution Architects apply extensive knowledge to products, technologies, services and methodologies in response to business needs. The skills required of all Solution Architects are very broad, and come from all of the technical disciplines in which IT Architects are directly involved. Also required are strong personal, business, industry and project management skills.
Solution Architects are engaged in enterprise design and/or development for transforming client requirements and process models into plans, process IT solutions which include hardware, software, network and data specifications. Activities include technical planning, build vs. buy assessment, reviews, development of architecture, and modification of specifications for customized application solution components. In addition to their broad technical background, Solution Architects that engage in enterprise development may focus their design and development efforts in one of the following areas: Traditional (Host based) Development, Client/Server, Object Oriented Solutions, Imaging Solutions, or Rapid Solutions. Some solutions designed may be COTS applications with a focus on platform implementations.

The client is looking for a senior resource with extensive Business Analyst and Change Management experience. This senior resource will participate in changes to business processes and programs; information technology (IT) and infrastructure; and human resources, all of which impact branches across the ministry, sector partners and the wider community.
The Senior Business Analyst will be engaged in the Strategic Planning, Design, and Implementation Phases of a major business transformation project with the Ministry of Central Services, and several internal and external senior stakeholders across multiple Ministries.
As a Senior Business Analyst, the resource will be required to participate as a team member in updating, documenting and enhancing the business processes for the government and individuals affected by the process change. The Business Analyst will bring experience in leading the Ministries through this process, demonstrate experience in creating and managing a robust strategy and plan, and bring experience in creating, coordinating and executing the process change. This position plays an integral and strategic role in organizational success, as they are a key player in helping the business to make informed strategic decisions. They are responsible for managing business process change and must ensure that deliverables are met, delivered effectively across the government, and accepted by the internal and external stakeholders. A large part of this role involves coaching and mentoring a group of business SMEs throughout the project lifecycle.

The client is looking for a proven System Administrator to work in the Vmware and Windows Server environment. To this end, experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager would be a strong asset. The System Administrator will functionally report to the IT Network Solutions group, however will work on occasion with the PDO to provide research and recommendations on technical solutions. The System Administrator must have a minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Systems Center Operations Manager, Active Directory, Group policy and Vmware (vCenter, cSphere).
